Base salary of $76,400 to $86,827 with quarterly bonuses of $5,000. - $12,500. based on performance. 

An additional $12,500. in quarterly bonuses is available upon meeting targeted quotas.

ACCOUNT MANAGER - Technology & Information Services

Classification:  Administrative Level D - 260 day calendar

Reports to:  Executive Information and Technology Officer

FLSA Status:  Exempt

 

POSITION OVERVIEW

 

The Account Manager plays a key role in driving organizational growth by identifying, acquiring, and managing client relationships. This position is responsible for the full sales cycle—from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and ensuring client satisfaction. The Account Manager builds strong, long-term partnerships, develops account strategies, and identifies opportunities to expand services and revenue within existing accounts. This is a full time, in person position that combines strategic planning, relationship management, and hands-on client engagement to deliver measurable results. Supported by a collaborative team.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Three to five years of experience in sales and account management with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  2. Experience in business development is preferred. 
  3. Experience in selling technology services is preferred
  4. Experience working with public agencies is preferred.
  5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain client relationships.
  6. Ability to conduct compelling presentations and product demonstrations tailored to customer needs.
  7. Effective planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities to manage multiple priorities
  8. Such alternatives to certain above qualifications may apply as deemed appropriate by the Superintendent and/or Board of Directors.

GENERAL INFORMATION 

 

This position has the following expectations and prerequisite abilities.

  7. Ability to understand and follow oral and written directives, find requested data and present in user-friendly formats for internal and public distribution.
  8. Maintain regular attendance at work. Be punctual in meeting deadlines, attending meetings, and following schedules.
  9. Utilize teleservice platform to provide services to educators, students and district staff as directed.
  10. Ability to lift, carry at least 40 pounds.
  11. Ability to sit for extended periods of time in a vehicle or work setting.
  12. Ability to provide own transportation as this role requires occasional travel for meetings, conferences or events.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Development:

  1. Identify and qualify potential customers through research, networking, and industry events. Develop a pipeline of prospective clients aligned with organizational goals.
  2. Represent the organization at conferences, trade shows, and events to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and engage with potential clients.

Sales & Negotiation:

  1. Lead the full sales process, including outreach, presenting solutions, managing negotiations, and closing deals to meet sales targets.
  2. Conduct service demonstrations and presentations that effectively communicate service value and address client needs.

Account Management & Growth:

  1. Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing clients, acting as their primary point of contact.
  2. Proactively identify upsell opportunities, additional services, or account expansions that align with customer goals.

Collaboration & Customer Success:

  1. Partner with marketing, customer support, and service delivery teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and a seamless service experience.
  2. Share client insights with internal teams to enhance product offerings, improve processes, and strengthen customer satisfaction.

Performance Tracking & Reporting:

  1. Track account performance, revenue growth, upsell opportunities, and client satisfaction metrics.
  2. Prepare regular reports for leadership highlighting progress, challenges, and actionable insights for continuous improvement.

Strategic Outreach & Marketing Support:

  1. Work with marketing to develop targeted campaigns and materials (e.g., brochures, case studies, and presentations) to attract and engage potential clients.

Placement on the Linn Benton Lincoln ESD Administrative salary schedule will be commensurate with applicant’s qualifications, relevant training, and experience
